The Denver Nuggets are evaluating the trade market for second-year guard Bones Hyland, sources told The Denver Post's Mike Singer.

The Nuggets are looking for players with two-way abilities on a similar contract as the 22-year-old, as well as draft compensation. Denver believes it can potentially acquire a first-round pick, Singer reports.

Hyland is averaging 12.3 points, 3.0 assists, and 2.1 rebounds for the Western Conference's top seed. His 2-point field-goal percentage has dropped to 42.7% this season, compared to 46.5% last year.

The Nuggets drafted Hyland 26th overall in 2021. The dynamic guard made the All-Rookie second team after posting 10.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in 69 games.

The trade deadline is Feb. 9.
