The Arizona Cardinals plan to trade former All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins this offseason, sources tell Jordan Schultz, theScore's NFL insider.

Hopkins has two years and $34.36 million left on his contract but will likely seek a new deal, according to Schultz.

Owner Michael Bidwill plans to express the idea of moving Hopkins to general manager candidates, adds Schultz.

Hopkins' contract holds a no-trade clause, and he'd have to approve any deal.

The 30-year-old is set to earn $19.45 million in base salary and carries a $30.75-million cap hit for the 2023 season, per Spotrac.

The five-time Pro-Bowler missed the campaign's first six games due to suspension. The Cardinals ruled him out of the regular season's final two contests with a knee injury.

The three-time All-Pro receiver has played in 19 of 34 games over the last two years.

Hopkins has recorded 221 receptions, 2,696 yards, and 17 touchdowns over three seasons in Arizona.

He led the Cardinals with 717 receiving yards this campaign while adding three scores in just nine games.

The Houston Texans dealt Hopkins to Arizona in March 2020 after he established himself as one of the premier receivers over his first seven NFL seasons.

The Cardinals reportedly received inquiries about Hopkins' availability prior to the league's trade deadline, but the club wouldn't part with its star pass-catcher.

Arizona is amid significant change after the club fired head coach Kliff Kingsbury and general manager Steve Keim stepped down Monday.
