Tim Stutzle left the Ottawa Senators' 3-0 win Monday with an upper-body ailment and didn't return.

Stutzle was injured after being hit by Anaheim Ducks forward Brett Leason, who received an interference penalty on the play.

Alex DeBrincat converted on the ensuing power play on a cross-ice feed from Claude Giroux.

Stutzle entered Monday night's contest with 10 goals and 27 points through 27 games.

Senators forward Tyler Motte was also ruled out after sustaining an upper-body injury during the first period. Ottawa finished the game with 10 forwards.

Head coach D.J. Smith didn't offer an update for Stutzle or Motte following the game. However, he said the team would know more about the status of both players Tuesday.
