Veteran forward P.J. Tucker is finalizing a three-year, $33.2-million fully-guaranteed deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, his agent told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Tucker declined his $7.4-million player option with the Miami Heat earlier in June. The veteran forward averaged 7.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 71 games with the Heat in 2021-22, including a career-high 42% 3-point shooting percentage.

The Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, and the Minnesota Timberwolves were all reportedly interested in the 37-year-old.

The Boston Celtics eliminated Miami in seven games in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The veteran forward contributed to the Milwaukee Bucks' title run in 2021.
