Odell trolls NFL world, says 49ers traded Deebo Samuel to Patriots
Free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. put the NFL world on notice after the 2022 draft Saturday, tweeting that the New England Patriots had acquired disgruntled San Francisco 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel.

Samuel, 26, recently requested a trade from the 49ers amid stalled contract talks. The All-Pro receiver, who's entering the last year of his rookie deal, has been looking for a contract extension this year, but the two sides don't appear to be close to agreeing on a deal.
San Francisco reportedly rejected trade offers from the New York Jets and Detroit Lions during the NFL draft.
Multiple star wide receivers have already been traded this offseason due to contract disputes. The latest was A.J. Brown, who the Tennessee Titans sent to the Philadelphia Eagles in a stunning move Thursday. Philly then rewarded Brown with a four-year, $100-million extension.
