The Las Vegas Raiders have signed free-agent pass-rusher Chandler Jones, the team announced Thursday.

Jones will receive a three-year contract worth $52.5 million with $34 million guaranteed, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

The Raiders reportedly freed up a starting spot for Jones by trading Yannick Ngakoue to the Indianapolis Colts for cornerback Rock Ya-Sin.

Jones has been one of the NFL's most dominant edge defenders over the past decade. He racked up double-digit sacks in five of six seasons with the Arizona Cardinals and was twice named a first-team All-Pro (2017, 2019).

The 32-year-old produced 10.5 sacks, 26 quarterback hits, and a team-high six forced fumbles in 15 starts last campaign.

Las Vegas will pair Jones with Maxx Crosby, a 2021 second-team All-Pro, to give it one of the strongest pass-rushing duos in the NFL.

The AFC West has made some of the biggest moves involving pass-rushers this offseason. The Los Angeles Chargers reportedly traded for Khalil Mack, and the Denver Broncos signed Randy Gregory to a five-year, $70-million deal.
