Portland Trail Blazers big man Zach Collins is a free agent after the club elected not to extend a $7-million qualifying offer to the 2017 first-round pick, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Collins is sidelined indefinitely after re-injuring his left foot. The 6-foot-11 forward missed the 2020-21 campaign due to the ailment, and he made only 11 appearances the previous season.

Portland selected Collins 10th overall in 2017. He averaged 5.7 points, four boards, and 0.7 blocks over 154 appearances with the Blazers.
