Kevin Durant had another performance for the ages in the Brooklyn Nets' 115-111 Game 7 overtime loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.

The two-time NBA Finals MVP scored 48 points on 17-of-36 shooting to set a new NBA record for points in a Game 7.

Atlanta Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins and Sam Jones of the Boston Celtics shared the previous mark, scoring 47 points apiece in their respective Game 7 contests.

Durant also registered nine boards, six assists, one steal, and one block as he played all 53 minutes. His 17 made field goals pushed him past Hakeem Olajuwon for 10th on the NBA's all-time playoff leaderboard.

He joins Jerry West and Oscar Robertson as the only players in league history to score at least 40 points in a Game 7 while playing every minute, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

"They couldn't have given us anything more," head coach Steve Nash said postgame, according to ESPN's Malika Andrews. "To take that team, without (Kyrie Irving) - and James (Harden) on one leg out there ... I hurt for them more than anything."
