Chase Elliott survived slippery track conditions Sunday at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin to win the EchoPark Texas Grand Prix after the race was called with 14 laps remaining due to inclement weather.

The victory was the 2020 Cup Series champion's first win of the season and a historic victory for Hendrick Motorsports.

Kyle Larson finished the rain-soaked event in second place, with Joey Logano following in third.

Elliott moves into sixth position in the Cup Series standings with his triumph, trailing first-place position holder Denny Hamlin by 27 points.
