And then there were zero.

Maryland's 63-54 win over UConn in the NCAA Tournament's first round Saturday ensured there will be no perfect March Madness bracket this year, according to NCAA.com's Wayne Staats.

Three brackets remained intact despite Ohio's stunning upset over Virginia earlier Saturday, but all three erroneously tabbed the Huskies to then prevail over the Terrapins.

Entering Saturday's slate, only 121 brackets remained in play following multiple upsets on Friday. That number immediately fell to 72 after Colorado knocked off Big East Tournament champion Georgetown in the first game of the day.
