Fans who have been curious what their favorite golfer's heart rate is during a crucial putt may get to find out this season.

Whoop has become the official fitness wearable of the PGA Tour, the association announced Wednesday.

Information collected from the straps will allow the company to highlight players' biometric data and heart rates during key moments throughout the upcoming PGA Tour season. Whoop and the Tour will donate $10,000 to the charity of a golfer's choice if they are featured.

"Whoop has organically grown amongst the world’s best golfers for years and we are proud to take our relationship with the PGA Tour and all athletes to the next level," said Whoop founder and CEO Will Ahmed. "This partnership is particularly new and innovative in that it will bring heart rate and other engaging physiological metrics directly into the fan experience."

Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas are two prominent players who already wear the strap.
