An analysis conducted by Casino.org of the most popular sports-focused Reddit communities - including r/NBA, r/MLB, r/baseball, and r/NFL - found that NBA referees were discussed the most, with nearly 40,456 mentions, including over 11,000 citing specific officials.
Ben Taylor, who began officiating at the NBA level in 2013, received the most positive mentions, while 19-year veteran Jason Phillips was the most negatively mentioned. Tony Brothers and Scott Foster were the most talked-about NBA officials overall, making up a whopping 69% of the total mentions.
