'College GameDay' headed to NYC for 1st time ever

ESPN is taking "College GameDay" to the Big Apple for the first time ever, as it announced Thursday it will set up shop at Times Square in Manhattan on Sept. 23.
"New York City is a melting pot of college football fans and the heartbeat of America," said ESPN vice president of production Lee Fitting in a news release.
The show won't be hosted by any school in particular. New York City will mark the 81st different location "College GameDay" has visited in its 25-year history.

Louisville is set to host the Week 3 installment of the show before it meets Clemson on Saturday night.
