Malcolm Perry has etched his name in the college football history books.
The senior quarterback set a new single-season FBS record for most rushing yards by a quarterback during Navy's 20-17 victory over Kansas State in the Liberty Bowl. He recorded 2,017 rushing yards during the campaign.
Perry - who amassed 213 yards on the ground during the game - passed former Northern Illinois signal-caller Jordan Lynch, who had 1,920 rushing yards in 2013.
The Midshipmen pivot eclipsed 100 rushing yards in all but two games this year. He posted 517 yards on the ground over his last two contests.
Navy - which finished this season 11-2 - ended its campaign with the school's second bowl win in the past three seasons.
