Canada's Poulin out vs. USA with lower-body injury
Team Canada women's hockey captain Marie-Philip Poulin didn't suit up in Tuesday's round-robin game against the United States due to a lower-body injury, the team announced.
Poulin is considered day-to-day.
The 34-year-old exited Canada's 5-1 win over Czechia after taking a hit from Kristyna Kaltounkova.

Poulin has recorded 17 goals and 36 points in her 24-game Olympic career, trailing only Hall of Famer Hayley Wickenheiser for second all time in both stats. She scored the gold-medal-winning goal at the 2010, 2014, and 2022 Olympics.
Poulin is the reigning PWHL MVP and tied for sixth in league scoring with 14 points in 15 games for the Montreal Victoire this season.
