Bradley, Curran win CVS Health Charity Classic
Barrington, RI - Keegan Bradley and Jon Curran combined to fire a 10-under 61 on Tuesday to win the CVS Health Charity Classic by two shots.
The duo teamed up to finish the 36-hole tournament at 21-under-par 121 at Rhode Island Country Club.
Harris English and Lexi Thompson, who entered the day tied for the lead with Bradley and Curran, carded an 8-under 63 in the final round to finish alone in second at 19-under 123.
Billy Horschel and Jimmy Walker exploded up the leaderboard with an 11-under 60, vaulting them into third place at minus-18.
Two-time defending champions Steve Stricker and Bo Van Pelt shot a 6-under 65. They tied for fifth at 15-under 127.
After an opening par, Curran and Bradley drained a birdie at the par-4 second. They later ran off five straight birdies from the fourth to get to 6-under for the day.
Curran and Bradley drained back-to-back gains at 10 and 11 before making five straight pars from 12. Birdies at 17 and 18 sealed the victory for the duo.
