Kevin Na won the Sony Open by one shot on Sunday for his fifth PGA Tour title.

Na erased a two-stroke deficit by shooting a final-round 65 at Waialae Country Club to secure the victory over Chris Kirk and Joaquin Niemann.

The 37-year-old was trailing by three to Brendan Steele as he made the turn, but after a bogey on No. 12, Na rattled off three consecutive birdies and added another on the par-5 18th to finish the event at 21-under par.

The win marks Na's fourth since July 2018 and vaults him to 23rd in the world ranking. His first victory was back in October 2011.

Here's how the top of the leaderboard finished from Honolulu:

Place Player To Par R4 Score
1 Kevin Na -21 65
T2 Chris Kirk -20 65
T2 Joaquin Niemann -20 66
T4 Webb Simpson -19 64
T4 Marc Leishman -19 65
T4 Brendan Steele -19 69

Steele, who held a two-shot lead after 54 holes, played the back nine at 2-over. He's now 1-for-6 in converting third-round leads into victories.

While Na may be walking home with the hardware, Kirk can consider himself a winner, as well. The 35-year-old journeyman was playing in his final start on a major medical exemption and needed to finish in a two-way tie for third or better to retain full status on the PGA Tour.

Niemann recorded his second straight runner-up result in Hawaii. He lost in a playoff at last week's Tournament of Champions before giving himself another chance at winning at Waialae. The 22-year-old moves to No. 25 in the world with his performances.

The PGA Tour heads to Palm Desert, California, next week for The American Express.
