Tiger Woods carded a final-round even-par 71 to close his Dell Technologies Championship on Monday, a mediocre finish to a less-than-stellar week.

He entered Round 4 six shots off the lead, needing a hot start to have any sort of chance. Tiger birdied two of the first four, albeit the easiest stretches of holes at TPC Boston, but failed to keep the momentum rolling into the rest of the round.

Woods only gave himself one birdie look within 35 feet in his final five holes of the opening nine and made the turn at 2-under.

A birdie on No. 11 was quickly erased by a missed 8-footer on the 14th. At this point, Woods seemed to be slowing down, playing in a sweat-soaked shirt since the first tee.

Tiger proceeded to dunk his tee shot into the water on the par-3 16th, leading to a double-bogey and bringing him back to even par for the round. This is where he would end up, closing the event at 7-under and outside the top 20.

The one positive takeaway from Tiger's week is that he gained strokes in all four categories, but failing to exceed in any led to the pedestrian result.

The two-time FedEx Cup winner started the week in 25th on the postseason points list and is projected to drop at least a couple spots, putting his Tour Championship hopes in jeopardy.

He will be in action at next week's BMW Championship in Philadelphia looking to secure a top-30 spot and advance to the postseason finale.
