Woods will tee off at the Northern Trust Aug. 21 and the Dell Technologies Championship Aug. 29 as per TSN Golf. These tournaments, eligible for players in the top 125 and top 100 in points, will be Woods' first FedEx Cup appearances in five years.
The 42-year-old has played in the opening FedEx Cup tournament four times, with a career-best T2 in 2009 and 2013. Woods ranks 47th in the FedEx Cup standings and is eyeing a spot on Jim Furyk's Ryder Cup team.
