The common saying in golf is "drive for show, putt for dough," and Si Woo Kim is proving that to be true on the front nine at TPC Sawgrass.
The South Korean hit only 4-of-7 fairways on the opening stretch in Sunday's final round at THE PLAYERS Championship, but thanks to a hot putter, is alone in first as he makes the turn.
First he canned a 24-footer for birdie on the seventh, complete with a walk-off fist pump as the ball found the cup. He followed that up with another bomb on the ninth, drilling an 18-footer to make the turn at 10-under for the tournament.
