Jamaica's Thompson-Herah wins 100m women's final, sets new OR
Elaine Thompson-Herah won the women's 100m final on Saturday, running a 10.61 to set a new Olympic record.
The victory, which marks back-to-back titles for Thompson-Herah after her win in 2016 in Rio, completed a Jamaican sweep on the podium.
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce finished second in 10.74, and Shericka Jackson took the bronze in 10.76.
