Report: Predators place Moses on waivers; likely headed to KHL

The Nashville Predators have placed forward Steve Moses on unconditional waivers, and he's expected to return to the KHL, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.

Moses, who was signed by the Predators this offseason after setting a new KHL record for goals in a season last year, failed to make the club out of training camp. He's spent the season with the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

His rights were acquired by SKA Saint Petersburg last week, suggesting a return to the KHL has been in the works for some time now, according to Friedman.

Moses has also struggled during his time in the AHL this season, putting up two goals and eight points in 16 games.
