VIDEO: Luke Schenn auditions for Flyers' starting goalie job
Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports
Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Luke Schenn has been a healthy scratch for four of his team's 18 games this season, but his five points trail only the injured Mark Streit for most among his team's blueliners.
On Thursday, he took a break from being an offensive powerhouse to audition for a job between the pipes, sliding in to stop San Jose Sharks forward Joe Pavelski with his right leg.
With a save like that, it wasn't surprising to see Flyers fans immediately anoint Schenn as their team's goaltender of the future:
Toss Luke Schenn's name into the ring of the goalie carousel. Would you not be entertained
