Maple Leafs sign Rich Clune to 1-year deal worth reported $575K

The Toronto Maple Leafs signed Rich Clune to an NHL contract, the club announced Thursday.
The gritty forward, who signed an AHL contract with the Toronto Marlies this past summer, will join the Maple Leafs immediately for practice.
Rich Clune's one-year deal with the #leafs pays him $575,000 at the NHL level and $350,000 in the AHL.

The 28-year-old recorded two goals, three assists, and 18 penalty minutes in eight games with the Marlies this season.
Selected in the third round of the 2005 draft, Clune has appeared in 120 NHL games, with seven goals, 11 assists, and 305 penalty minutes to his name.
