Sean Bergenheim is waiting it out as training camps get set to open around the NHL.
The free-agent forward has reportedly rejected several professional tryout offers and is at home waiting for a contract offer, according to Andy Strickland of FOX Sports Midwest.
The 31-year-old is coming off a four-year, $11-million deal signed with the Florida Panthers.
Bergenheim appeared in 39 games for Florida this past season - recording eight goals and ten assists - before being traded to the Minnesota Wild, for whom he scored one goal in 20 games (including playoffs).
