The Buffalo Sabres signed defenseman Bobby Sanguinetti on Thursday to a 1-year, 2-way contract, the team announced on their official website.
The 27-year-old spent last season with KHL's Moscow Oblast Atlant where he had two goals and seven points in 15 games.
Sanguinetti was drafted 21st overall by the New York Rangers in 2006, but has played just 45 NHL games.
