The more depth, the better.
Gabriel Bourque has accepted his qualifying offer and will return to the Nashville Predators on a one-year deal worth $866,250, the team announced Thursday.
Bourque, 24, appeared in 69 games for Nashville last season, scoring three goals and adding 10 assists.
The former fifth-round pick in the 2009 NHL Draft will most likely re-visit his role as a fourth-liner on the squad next season.
