The Vancouver Canucks signed defenseman Yannick Weber to a one-year deal worth a reported $1.5 million, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
Weber, 26, earned 21 points in 65 games for the Canucks last season, the top point total of his career.
The 2007 third-round pick earned $850,000 last season.
