Lightning's Stamkos revives the team's 2004 motto: 'Stanley needs a tan'

Steven Stamkos finished the Tampa Bay Lightning's second-round series against the Montreal Canadiens riding a five-game point streak - a stark contrast to his sluggish postseason start of three assists in eight games.
Stamkos appears to be hitting his stride entering the Eastern Conference Final and he has the swagger to prove it. The Lightning captain revived one of the team's lines from their Stanley Cup run in 2004 during a postgame interview.
"Stanley needs a tan," Stamkos told reporters, referring to Florida's sunny weather and soaring temperatures.
Tampa Bay is still eight games away from taking the Cup to the beach. The Lightning were one win shy of reaching the Cup Final in 2011 and haven't been back to the Conference Final since.
