X marks the spot for the St. Louis Blues.
That letter will now sit beside their name in the NHL standings, denoting the fact they've clinched a playoff spot for the fourth straight season after a 4-1 win over the Calgary Flames on Thursday.
The win gives St. Louis a total of 101 points on the season, and, with five games remaining, the possibility of stealing the Central Division title away from the Nashville Predators remains very much alive.
The Blues are two points back of the Predators, who have only four games left to play.
Either way, the Blues are heading to the postseason, and will attempt to move past the first round for the first time since 2012.
