Calgary Flames forward Jiri Hudler helped his team better its chances at making the playoffs with his 26th goal of the season.

The second-period marker gave his team a 2-1 lead that helped them earn a single point after the team dropped the game 3-2 in overtime to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday.

Hudler set a new career-high with the goal. The 31-year-old's previous best came during the 2011-12 season, when he had 25 with the Detroit Red Wings

Hudler now has 63 points in 69 games, which is also a career-high.
