Buffalo Sabres farmhand Mark Pysyk has been released from hospital and is doing well after collapsing during a game of pick-up basketball Saturday, the Rochester Americans announced.

Pysyk was taken to the hospital by paramedics and admitted for evaluation. The cause of his collapse is still unknown.

The defenseman just finished a three-game tour with the Sabres, collecting three points and a plus-4 rating before being reassigned to Rochester on Friday.
