The Winnipeg Jets' reported interest in Daniel Winnik endures.
After failing to woo him last summer, the Jets could reportedly take another shot in landing the Toronto Maple Leafs forward at the trade deadline, Darren Dreger reported Thursday on "Insider Trading."
Winnik, who has emerged as one of the Maple Leafs' top bargaining chips, fits the bottom-six winger capacity the Jets are rumored to covet.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are said to have tabled an offer before eventually landing Max Lapierre.
