The Winnipeg Jets appear finally ready to enter the market.
General manager Kevin Cheveldayoff is reportedly looking to acquire a winger to slot on the team's third line ahead of the March 2 trade deadline, Darren Dreger reported Thursday on TSN's "Insider Trading."
He suggests that once Jacob Trouba returns to the lineup – which is expected before the All-Star break – the team will look to parlay a defenseman into the checking winger they covet.
