The Chicago Blackhawks have often been inexcusably brutal with the man-advantage. Based on Saturday night's evidence, it seems possible that numerical superiority might be Chicago's kryptonite.
The Blackhawks had a 140 foot 4-on-1 against the Columbus Blue Jackets, with only Fedor Tyutin back to defend for Columbus. Despite all of the time and space in the world, somehow the Blackhawks didn't even manage to get a shot off:
