Ohio's hottest hockey team is about to get a little more dangerous.
The Columbus Blue Jackets - winners of six games in a row - have activated defenseman Fedor Tyutin off injured reserve, general manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced Tuesday.
Tyutin, who missed the past 13 games due to a sprained knee suffered on Nov. 14, recorded two assists and six penalty minutes in 16 games prior to the injury.
The 31-year-old is expected to play Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings.
