Maple Leafs win 5th straight game, top Kings 4-3 in shootout

The Toronto Maple Leafs blew a two-goal lead but rallied to defeat the Los Angeles Kings in a shootout on Sunday, winning for the fifth consecutive time.

Here's what you need to know:
- It was Toronto's seventh win in the last eight games and the second straight shootout win for goaltender James Reimer, who stopped 33 of 36 shots.
- Los Angeles lost its second consecutive game and fourth in the last five. The Kings are now 1-2-1 on a road trip that wraps up Tuesday in St. Louis.
- Toronto improved to 13-0-0 this season when scoring the first goal, this time benefiting from a Mike Santorelli marker in the first period.
- The Kings dominated puck possession, as they typically do.
