The NHL's chief operating officer John Collins has reportedly withdrawn his name from consideration to replace Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment president Tim Leiweke, according to Sportsnet.

Elliotte Friedman said in a second intermission segment that Collins is uninterested in leaving the league offices at this time and that MLSE's search for new leadership remains ongoing.
