Report: Matt Stajan's knee injury is severe, likely ligament damage

Flames center Matt Stajan sustained an apparent knee injury when he collided with Montreal behemoth Jarred Tinordi during Calgary's 2-1 shootout loss to the Canadiens on Tuesday night.
That injury is reportedly serious:

The underrated 30-year-old checking forward is signed to a contract that runs for this season and three more thereafter, and carries an averaged annual value (or cap-hit) of $3.125 million.
A key penalty-killer, Stajan had managed a goal and an assist while logging third-line minutes through the first 11 games of the season.
