Havlat is off to a strong start with his latest team. The 33-year-old recorded a point in each of the Devils' first three games but has a history of injury issues.
He missed 85 games in three seasons with the San Jose Sharks, largely due to various ailments. Havlat was often a healthy scratch in his last season with the Sharks, sitting out six of the team's seven playoff games.
