VIDEO: Alex Ovechkin beats Antti Niemi from impossible angle

The NHL's leading goal scorer doesn't need much, or any, daylight to beat excellent NHL goaltenders. 

Washington Capitals forward Alexander Ovechkin proved that statement to be true once again on Tuesday night, essentially defying geometric principles with an impossible angle slap-shot that somehow squeaked past Sharks goaltender Antti Niemi:
