Blackhawks' Bickell activated off injured reserve; F Morin reassigned to Rockford
The Chicago Blackhawks announced Monday that forward Jeremy Morin has been reassigned to Rockford of the American Hockey League to make way for forward Bryan Bickell, who was activated off injured reserve.
Bickell, who earned a four-year, $16 million contract this past off-season after scoring 17 points in Chicago's 23-game Stanley Cup playoff run, has gotten off to a slow start in 2013-14; an injured leg has limited him to just 5 goals, and one assist in 23 games. He played in all 71 Blackhawks' games last season.
Morin picked up five points in 15 games with the big club this season.
