The Anaheim Ducks are in significant discussions with multiple teams about trading forward Trevor Zegras, reports Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.

Zegras tallied 12 goals and 32 points in 57 games this season. He has one season left on a three-year pact signed in 2023 that carries a $5.75-million cap hit.

The 24-year-old has had consecutive campaigns derailed due to injuries. Zegras sustained a torn meniscus in December, and he had two lower-body injuries in 2023-24. He's missed 76 games over the past two seasons.

Zegras broke out in 2021-22 when he notched 23 goals and 61 points. He became a rising star with a pair of lacrosse-style goals and an alley-oop assist, which helped lead him to gracing the cover of EA Sports' NHL 23, alongside Canadian women's team star Sarah Nurse.

He followed up his standout season with a career-high 65 points in 2022-23, but managed just 18 goals and 47 points in 88 games since signing his extension.

Anaheim reportedly listened to offers for Zegras last June.

Zegras was drafted ninth overall in 2019 by the Ducks.
