The New Jersey Devils have traded goaltender Louis Domingue to the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for netminder Zane McIntyre, the team announced.
Domingue, 27, owns an .882 save percentage and a 3.79 goals-against average in 16 games with the Devils this season. He went 21-5-0 as the Tampa Bay Lightning's backup in 2018-19.
McIntyre, 27, has just eight NHL appearances under his belt, all coming with the Boston Bruins during the 2016-17 campaign.
Domingue will back up Thatcher Demko for Tuesday's game against the Montreal Canadiens. Starter Jacob Markstrom, meanwhile, could miss three-to-four weeks with a lower-body injury, general manage Jim Benning said, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
