Bruins, Tim Schaller sign 1-year deal worth $775K

The Boston Bruins signed forward Tim Schaller to a one-year contract worth $775,000 for the 2017-18 season, the team announced Wednesday.

Schaller appeared in 59 games for the Bruins last season, registering seven goals and seven assists. He also scored once in six playoff games.

Originally signed as an undrafted free agent by Buffalo in 2013, Schaller has made 94 regular-season appearances at the NHL level, totaling nine goals and 10 assists.
