Zach Parise appears to have escaped a nasty double whammy with minimal damage.
The Minnesota Wild forward skated with the team Thursday morning, less than 48 hours after taking a high stick from Washington Capitals pest Tom Wilson and colliding with Jay Beagle moments later.
The freak incident took place in the first period of Tuesday night's 5-4 overtime win by the Capitals in St. Paul.
Parise had to be helped off the ice after absorbing the two blows, and Wilson was given a double-minor for his role.
