The New York Islanders continue to add forwards, signing Jason Chimera to a two-year contract, the club announced. The deal is worth $2.25 million annually, according to multiple reports.
New York landed Andrew Ladd earlier in the day and will likely slot Chimera in a bottom-six and penalty-killing role.
The 37-year-old contributed 20 goals and 20 assists for the Washington Capitals last season.
