NFL world mourns following the death of Tray Walker
The NFL lost one of its own on Friday, as Baltimore Ravens cornerback Tray Walker died due to severe head injuries suffered during a motorcycle crash.
The 23-year-old's death was followed by an outpouring of grief by players, coaches, and teams, as well as support for his family and friends:

Several members of the Ravens organization shared their feelings about Walker's passing in a collective statement released by the team:
"Tray was one of the most humble persons we brought in for a pre-draft visit," said general manager Ozzie Newsome. "That was striking. After we drafted him, he and his family were so excited to receive the call that he was about to become a Raven. It was one of the calls I will always remember. There was such joy for Tray and his family."
"Tray will truly be missed by all who got to know him," said safety Terrence Brooks. "I am taking this news pretty hard, because he was a guy who I took under my wing to help him with any little advice that I had gained from being in the NFL for a short amount of time."
"Tray was a young man who was full of energy and promise," said quarterback Joe Flacco. "This is very hard to wrap my head around, and I am devastated. As a parent, I cannot imagine what his family is going through right now. All of my thoughts are with them. My hope is that we can be a little bit of help by being a second family for them."
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell added his voice to the chorus of support for Walker's loved ones.
The loss of this young man is a terrible tragedy, and this is a sad day for everyone in the NFL. Our thoughts are with Tray’s family and friends, his teammates, and the entire Baltimore Ravens organization.
Players from the Ravens and other organizations around the league expressed their grief on social media:
