Broncos' Ray shows hometown pride with tattoo that includes Chiefs logo
Denver Broncos fans may not be too happy with Shane Ray's new ink.
The young pass-rusher, who was born and raised in Kansas City, recently shared a photo of the body art demonstrating the love he has for his hometown.
Included along with a city skyline are logos of local sports teams Sporting KC, the Royals, and the Chiefs. The latter of whom, of course, being Denver's bitter AFC West rival.
It wasn't long before the 2015 first-round pick predictably received some backlash on social media, prompting him to offer the following explanation.
Listen people! I love the Broncos and I bleed orange and blue. Don't let a representation of pride and art upset you. Let's get this work 🐴
