Report: Charles Woodson to join ESPN's 'Sunday NFL Countdown'

After retiring from the NFL after 18 illustrious seasons, Charles Woodson will apparently not stay unemployed for long.

Woodson is set to join ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown," sources told Jason McIntrye of TheBigLead.com.

The former Defensive Player of the Year will replace Keyshawn Johnson, who left the show after nine years.

Woodson was expected to pursue a career in TV following his retirement in January, with the 39-year-old being arguably one of the most well-liked and respected players of his generation.

Woodson will join the broadcast team of Chris Berman, Tom Jackson, Mike Ditka, and Cris Carter.
